Lost Finds: Save the Date!

Last summer I was contacted by a great gal who found me through my SU website. She was looking for someone to make Save the Date cards for her wedding. She wanted them in black and white, with a little bit of red. I made up several samples, and this is what the couple chose.

I liked the idea of a pocket card, where the insert slides out. I began with a base of Whisper White card stock. I used the Upsy Daisy stamp set in Basic Black on the front, and the sentiment is from Wedding Sweet in Real Red.

The insert is Basic Black card stock, I printed the information from my printer onto Whisper White cardstock. I punched a hole and tied it with Whisper White Satin Ribbon and Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon.

I hope they had a wonderful wedding!

Some of the Save the Date cards also included this insert for the Bachelor Party. This couple was very cute and had a great sense of humor. I printed everything in black and blue from my computer. I stamped the "Jackpot" from the Game Night stamp set in Real Red.
