Clean and Simple Challenge FTL 91

I made this card last weekend for the Fall to Layout 91 challenge over at Clean and Simple Stamping. However, I have had camera problems and haven't been able to take a decent picture until today. I don't get to participate in challenges as often as I'd like because my schedule is pretty unpredictable, but I love them when I do!
I love the bright colors in this paper! It just sings summer to me. Our weather here in Salt Lake City has been pretty crazy this year. I am definitely ready for some consistent sunshine!

Simply Adorned Bracelet

I've had this bracelet and the charms for at least a month now, but I hadn't made inserts and put it together until this last weekend. I'm pleased with the way it turned out, but I'm sure I'll end up changing out my inserts soon. I'm hoping Stampin' UP! will come out with some other small stamps to fit inside these smaller charms.

For 3 of the 4 inserts, I used stamps from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp in the Summer Mini. You can see this stamp set by clicking on the link at the right side of the screen. If you don't have a copy of the new Summer Mini catalog, you can get one from your demonstator. If you don't have a demonstator, send me a message, and I'll happily get one out to you. The square charm with the pink flower is from the Greenhouse Garden set.

The Itty Bitty Bits stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Itty Bitty Punches. I was hoping they would fit perfectly in the circle charm, but the punch is a little too small. However, I layered the circle images on a piece of colored cardstock punched using the 1/2" Circle Punch.

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Itty Bitty Bits stamp set WM #117056, CM #120060, Greenhouse Garden #113824

Simply Adorned Bracelet #117342

Simply Adorned

Here is the second part to that birthday gift I forgot to give! Don't worry, she finally has her very belated gift! I have been wearing my Simply Adorned necklace for quite awhile now, and I love being able to change it up to match my mood and outfits!

Here is a shot of my necklace and my inserts so far. I gave Darla the same necklace and set. I wear my charm on the 34" necklace and wrap it around my neck twice. I gave her the 24" necklace, because I think she'd prefer to let it hang longer.

Stampin' Supplies:
Simply Adorned 1" x 1-1/4" Rectangle Charm #116798
Simply Adorned Chain 34" #116853
Simply Adorned Chain 24" #116800

I used a variety of stamps and colors. Some of the colors I can identify, some I can't quite remember. But, they're here for inspiration! The stamps I used are:
Charming #116519
Great Friend #113792
Pocket Silhouettes #111672
Greenhouse Garden #113824
Awash with Flowers CM #120549 WM #117062

Fabulous Friend - Color Swap

This is another card I made for the demo swap All About Color. The challenge was to use Sahara Sand and one color from the Earth Elements color family.

I used some paper from the Hostess Level 1 Paper Patterns Pack. I stamped the Upsy Daisy stamp in Sahara Sand ink onto Sahara Sand paper for the tone-on-tone image. I used my Big Shot and the Top Note Die on top of a double mat of Whisper White and Sahara Sand. The "Fabulous Friend" stamp is from the Oval All stamp set. I punched it out using the Large Oval Punch and layered in on a piece of Cameo Coral punched with the Scallop Oval Punch.

Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Oval All #113790, Upsy Daisy #111710
Ink: Sahara Sand Classic Ink Pad #, Cameo Coral Stampin' Write Marker #100074
Paper: Whisper White cardstock #100730, Sahara Sand cardstock #195328, Sahara Sand DSP (Hostess Level 1)
Accessories: Whisper White Satin Ribbon #114616. Scallop Oval Punch #114889, Large Oval Punch #107305
Big Shot Machine #113439, Top Note Die #113463

Smooch Spritz

I was cleaning up my scrapping space over the weekend and came across a birthday gift I forgot to give - sorry Darla! Better late than never, right? Here is the card I made:
The stamp set was from Sale-a-Bration in the Happy Memories stamp set. I love this set. Bummer story... my kitty hopped up on my crafting table one night and scattered some things. This case popped open and all the stamps fell out. One of the stamps, the cute little bird in the cage, is still nowhere to be found. I'm thinking it either fell in the trash, or it became a kitty toy and is now hidden very well! That silly Leo! Well, maybe someday it will show up again.

I colored the image with blender pens and ink pads. I matted the image on Melon Mambo cardstock and tied Melon Mambo polka-dot ribbon around it. I think the background turned out really cool! First, I ran the Whisper White textured cardstock base through the Big Shot using the new Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The card still seemed too bare, so I inked up the impression with Versamark ink and used a sponge dauber to apply Pretty in Pink Stampin' Pastel over the card. I could have stopped there, because it looked alright. However, I remembered I haven't used my Smooch Spritz yet! I couldn't resist the opportunity. I shook it up really well, placed the card inside a box (I'd read from others it is messy) and I started to spray. I think I spritzed 4 times... maybe 5. I love this stuff! I'm definitely going to order it in the other colors! So... what do you think of my smooch?

Supplies:
Stamp: Happy Memories (SAB 2010)
Cardstock: Melon Mambo #115320, Whisper White #100730, Whisper White Textured #108693
Ink: Melon Mambo Classic Ink #115656, Chocolate Chip Classic Ink #100908, Versamark #102283
Accessories: Square Lattice Impressions Folder #119976, Smooch Spritz Gold Glow #118770, Melon Mambo 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon #115611

Simply Thanks - Color Swap

One of the things I love about being a Stampin' UP demonstrator is getting to know the other demonstrators! I participated in a swap on Stampin' Connection, a site exclusively for SU demonstrators. The swap was to use Sahara Sand and one other color from the Earth Elements family. I participated in two of the swaps, but I'm only going to show you the one using Ruby Red today. I'll show you the other card tomorrow. Ironically, both of the colors I picked are retiring June 30!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Pick a Petal #115042, Simply Thanks #115560
Ink: Sahara Sand Classic Ink #105208, Ruby Red Classic Ink #102259
Cardstock: Sahara Sand #105328, Whisper White #100730
Ruby Red Brads (Earth Elements set) #106955

FTL 90

I decided to try a sketch challenge this weekend. I often use sketches from challenges, but it is usually long after the challenge window. I noticed this FTL 90 sketch at the Clean and Simple blog. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to use a pink and brown combination and the Circle Circus stamp set. Here is my take on the challenge:

And here is the sketch:
This card actually came together really quickly. That is often the case for me when I'm using a sketch. I need to remember that next time I'm frustrated with myself about losing my stampin' mojo!

Stamps: Circle Circus #115778, Thank You Kindly #111700
Ink: Chocolate Chip Classic Ink #100908, Pretty in Pink Classic Ink # 101301
