Last Chance! Don't miss out!

Occasionally I particpate in card swaps with other demonstrators to get new ideas. I love seeing what other demos create and the color combinations they choose. The following card comes from one of those swaps. I changed up the colors and the dimensions a bit, but otherwise this is a CASE (copy and share everything) of someone else's work. Unfortunately, this creative demo didn't sign the card, so I can't give credit. If this happens to be yours, please let me know and I'll give you credit.

Most of the items I used are on the Last Chance list and are only available until the end of the month. The base of the card, the scallop oval, and the inking around the petals is Dusty Durango, one of this year's In Colors. I used Chocolate Chip for the ink and the circle in the center of the flower. The stem is Close to Cocoa cardstock. I ran the Crushed Curry layer through the Big Shot and the polka-dot embossing folder. The stamped sentiment is from Short and Sweet. The flower is the Daisy Die for the Big Shot. I finished the card by tying a piece of Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon across the front layers. This card was easily mass-produced for me to include with my orders from my June stamp camp. If you live in or near Salt Lake City, Utah, contact me to attend a class or hold a workshop and earn FREE merchandise!

Today is the last day of my BLOG CANDY! Be sure to visit THIS POST to get yourself entered! If you are needing any supplies, please CLICK HERE to begin shopping. I will draw names for the candy on Wednesday night - that's tonight! Thank you to everyone who has placed orders to help me reach my goal. I'm so close, but I'm not quite there yet! Thank you also to everyone who has signed up as a follower and left comments. You are the reason I post my projects.

Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set

Here are some cards I have made with the Stampin' UP! "Crazy for Cupcakes" stamp set. I love this stamp set!

This first card I made using some paper from my stash. I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip on SU Whisper White Cardstock and colored the image using a Blender Pen and the Magic Colored Pencil Technique (MCPT or Gamsol). I used the SU 2-way glue pen on the frosting and added SU Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.

On the inside of the card, I stamped "hope your day is the sweetest ever!" which is also from this stamp set. This is such a great set for birthday cards. I made a set of them at once, so I would have cute cards on hand when needed!

I made this next card using a base of Whisper White CS and SU Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. This is one of my favorite sets of SU paper! I think I love this set because it has several different polka dot sheets and the combination of pink and brown makes my heart sing!

I stamped the image in Chocolate Chip on Whisper White CS and colored the image using Blender Pens and the ink-in-the-lid technique with Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red, and Pink Pirouette. I tied Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon around the front and used the SU Scallop Edge punch along the floral layer of paper. I think I made this card at a card demo by my upline Natalie.

This paper is only available for a few more months, so stock up now if you love it as much as I do!
